Effort Plan

Plan real work by real capacity.

Effort Plan helps you see tasks, meetings, flagged emails, and manual work in one place, then decide what can realistically fit today.

Version 0.2.4 for Mac and Windows
Simple to try. Effort Plan starts in Free Local mode. You can download it, open it, and add a manual task without creating an account. More setup help lives on EffortPlan.com.

Built for overloaded workdays

Use Effort Plan when your work is scattered across task systems, meetings, email flags, and quick notes.

One planning view

See tasks, meetings, flagged emails, and manually added work together.

Realistic days

Plan against the hours that remain after meetings and existing commitments.

Split large tasks

Put part of a large task on today and leave the rest visible for later.

Easy recall

Keep short daily notes so timesheets and follow-ups are easier later.

Connect when ready

Start manually, then add supported work sources such as Azure DevOps, Jira, Gmail, Google Calendar, Local Calendar, Local Tasks, and Local Outlook Mail.

Read-only by default

Effort Plan imports items for planning. It does not change the original task, calendar, or email source.

Current release 0.2.4

Released June 3, 2026 with a Today date fix and a one-day Today startup range.
